Job role: 2 x Support Workers
Service: Supported Living & Outreach
Location: Latchford area of Warrington
Hours per week: 1 x 24.5 & 1 x 16 hours per week plus 8 hour sleep-in's - 1 or 2 depending on your contracted hours
Experience/qualifications needed: None
A small group living environment supporting three women. They all have a moderate, severe, or profound learning disability and some may have additional needs such as autism, mental health issues, a physical disability, or dementia. Most of all they will have individual personalities, life histories, skills, interests and hobbies. Your role is to get to know the person and support them to live a fulfilling and active life in a way they want.
WCL Support Worker Brief:
We are looking for enthusiastic colleagues to join our team in delivering support to these individuals. You will be working within their home and out and about in the community. This service promotes independence, enablement and inclusion.
You will be working with our team of experienced support workers who provide high quality, effective and safe services that support people to lead their own lives in the community. Warrington Community Living has a strong emphasis on person centred approaches that deliver meaningful outcomes for individuals in line with the personalisation agenda. We want new colleagues who can demonstrate the ability to engage effectively with the people we support, their families, carers and a range of professionals.
