Hours: - Full or Part Time hours available

This particular Support Worker role will see you working with individual residents on a one-to-one basis to allow them to access the local community and engage in activities of their choice. Previous experience of support work would therefore be desirable.

Service Brief:

Westleigh House is located within walking distance to Stockton Heath village centre and is home to eighteen people with long term mental health support needs. For many this can be their home for a number of years, although for others it acts as a very successful transitional stage towards having their own home, either on their own or with others. It can also be used as a location for short breaks away from their permanent home.

Whilst independence is encouraged, if required our Mental Health Support Workers can support residents to enjoy activities that are important to them such as meeting and visiting family & friends, going to the cinema, shopping or engaging in work or learning activities.
