Radcliffe Meadows Learning Disabilities Nursing Home is set in beautiful gardens in Culcheth. It is home to twelve adults with Learning Disabilities who have complex and challenging support needs due to other issues in relation to mental health and physical disabilities. Supporting this lovely diverse group of individuals to be active members of the local community is the purpose of the colleagues who work at Radcliffe Meadows. The successful candidate will need to be people focused and driven by making a difference.
This successful candidate will lead a shift and a team of colleagues including support workers, cooks and housekeepers to deliver a wide range of support. You will be supported by the service manager, deputy manager and team leaders to provide the people we support with their , personal, health and social needs. This means you get to be a nurse not a finance and budget expert.
You will be working with great people alongside a brilliant team who will share your values in a genuine not for profit environment where the focus is on creating a home for individuals who happen to need nursing care. Its exciting times at Radcliffe Meadows as we look at how we can develop the service and the building to make it more flexible to the needs of the people who live here. As a charity our purpose is simply supporting people and 98% of WCL colleagues surveyed said that the managers always encourage them to put the needs of the people we support above anything else.
